Who says office wear has to be stuffy and boring? One of my former employers, that’s who. From the man’s style blazers, to the pantyhose in the non-air conditioned office in summer; there’s no way I could have introduced any alternative fashion into the office place. Designer Feral Childe certainly doesn’t follow the same beliefs, since not only have they introduced a new line of office appropriate wear that’s verging on contemporary, it’s also eco-friendly.
Feral Childe’s most recent line Yosemite, tries to combine some elements of the outdoors; nature at its finest, with an urban-chic style, and they’re certainly managing to successfully accomplish this. The designers of this line source local and sustainable fabrics, ensuring that their corporate wear is sustainable and organic. 75% of the materials used to design their clothing line uses organic cottons and hemps, while the other 25% uses mill-end overstock fabric. The line gets its unique and artistic feel because everything is hand dyed, hand painted and hand screens, so no two garments are ever exactly identical, and office workers can avoid that uncomfortable situation around the water cooler when they realize they’ve been caught wearing the same boring office garb as their co-worker.

Feral Childe’s line of eco-friendly office appropriate clothing proves, once again, that sustainable fashion hasn’t all gone to the hippies!

Hello, thank you for featuring Feral Childe in IzzitGreen! We even came up with some of our best ideas while daydreaming the hours away in our old office jobs. Be sure to check out the inside of the Picnic Blazer you feature here – all business on the outside, but the inner facing is a blast of color and pattern!
