It is official, Olympic fever is in full swing. So appropriately timed, I’m going to go out on a limb here and say a few of those outdoor Olympic types have felt the havoc the winter elements can reap on exposed skin. Lets face it – nothing burns the heck out of your face like a sunny day on the slopes. Living in upstate New York, I find myself relating with treks down the drive to retrieve the mail (with Olympic like speed of course!), and sliding down my very own steps luge style.

To Combat the Sunny Slopes: John Masters SPF30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen

Before I continue on the tangent of my Olympic like behaviors, I’ll get back to the point. What every avid skier and boarder should throw in their coat pocket, and often forgets about, is a face moisturizer with SPF protection. Maybe an eco friendly moisturizer with some SPF 30? Say John Masters SPF30 Natural Mineral Sunscreen? This is some snazzy stuff. It is a natural sunscreen that protects you from harmful UVA & UVB rays with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. It also throws in some other natural extracts like green tea, shea butter, and jojoba oil that replenish your skins vitamins and minerals. We are talking a serious dose of hydration with SPF 30 and NOP Certified Organic to boot. Plus, John Masters’s products are sold through Beautorium, a company that won’t even sell a product if it is tested on animals.

Now you can rest easy little green snow bunny…natural SPF protection and hydration alas!
