Green Gear for Your Pet’s St. Patty’s Day Parade

Go green this St. Patrick’s Day! But why? The original color associated with St. Patrick was blue not green. Over the years though, the color green and its association with the holiday grew because the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, was used by St. Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity to Irish people.
