Categories: Eco-News, Sports & Fitness
From now until July 16th our partner Get to Know is running a contest to get kids outdoors and exploring the natural world around us. The theme is, “Get to Know your wild neighbors” which speaks to Get to Know founder and famous wildlife artist Robert Bateman’s strong belief that we can increase environmental caring in youth by encouraging wildlife education. Get to Know has partnered with several other organizations in pursuit of their commendable goal including, the US Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Wildlife Federation, Outdoor Afro and many others.
How Do I Enter?
Entering is easy. Adventurers aged 19 and under are invited to submit a creative piece of art centered around biodiversity and the natural world by July 16th. The submission could be in the form of artwork, writing, photo, video, or even the new music category.
